Because if your machine decides to d/l your patch in the middle of a game or worse, decides to install it then your game won't run all that well.

Plus, the patches may actually impact your installation in some way.

That was the most boring race I've done for quite a while! Got clipped by a Mclaren which meant I had to pit so spent the whole race by myself. Pitted at the end to set quick laps on the softs. At least @MrZOCKson joined me at the end for a battle to set fastest lap

No worries. Yeah on my screen we touched. It was one of those Codemasters spins where a bit of light contact pitches you into an uncontrollable spin.

yes u need an invite. just add the creator of this post (steve jackson) to your steam friend list. then he will invite u to the race. look at the beginning of the thread ^^

Too bad I had a 5" penalty because I overtook @m.schlumpf under SC (He had connection problem) but it was nice.
