Championship Stage:

● Qualification:

Every team will take part in a mandatory time trial qualification event. The fastest 10 teams on each platform, will qualify to the championship stage on that platform. If a team is taking part on multiple platforms, they must qualify once per platform.

● Car Selection:

Teams will choose their cars for the championship in a priority order, defined by the Time Trial Times. e.g. The fastest team in the Time Trial Qualification, on each platform, will receive Number One Car Pick. The second fastest team in the Time Trial Qualification, will receive Number Two Car Pick. This continues all the way up until the tenth team.

● Season:

The championship will be contested over 9 selected tracks from the 2018 Formula 1 Calendar, with the intent to provide a balanced range of difficulty and challenges. Teams will be able to enter 2 drivers in each race, but may nominate a pool of up to 5 drivers, all of whom can be interchanged at any point during the championship. Teams may not add anyone to their pool once the championship has begun. All points scored by the two drivers for a team will be added to the Team's Championship standing.

● Points Classification:

Each round will be scored with the following system:

1st = 25
2nd = 18
3rd = 15
4th = 12
5th = 10
6th = 8
7th = 6
8th = 4
9th = 2
10th = 1
11th-20th = 0

DNF:

Drivers who complete less than 90% of the race distance will be classified as DNF (Did Not Finish) in the race results, and will score 0 points regardless of their final position.

Drivers who complete more than 90% of the race before accidentally crashing out or getting disconnected (without re-joining the session to resume control of their car before the end of the race) will be classified as a finisher, but will only be credited with the amount of laps they completed in control of their car, even if the driver's AI car makes it to the end. Points will then be scored as per the system above.

Technical Faults:
Any technical faults on either side will be counted as equivalent to a Mechanical Failure in Formula 1, and will be classified according to the above DNF information.

DSQ:
Drivers who get disqualified from a race - whether that be due to an in-game penalty or post-race disqualification via the stewards panel - will be classified as a DSQ (Disqualified) and moved below all other drivers in the results.

If a driver is classified as DSQ within a points scoring position, they will score 0 points for that position regardless of race distance completed.

If a driver is disqualified through any means, they will be suspended from the next round and must be replaced by another driver from the Team Pool. In the case of a game bug causing a DSQ, this should be made clear to the League Stewards ASAP to avoid a suspension.

● Post Championship:

After the championship has concluded, the top three scoring teams from each platform will qualify for a Live Final. More information can be found in the Live Final section of the information.

Live Final Stage:

● Overview:

Following the conclusion of the Championship Stage, the top three teams from each platform will be invited to a Live Final. A team may only enter one squad in the final, so if a team finishes top three on multiple platforms they will only advance once. In this case, the top ranked (points) fourth placed team over all platforms will be offered a spot.

A team may only enter 2 drivers in the final, and they must be from the nominated driver pool and they must have raced in the qualifiers. In the case of a team finishing in the top three on multiple platforms, they may enter any of their drivers from either of their nominated pools in the final.

All qualifying teams will receive a base amount of £x intended to pay for any costs in order to reach the event.
