We have yet to finalise the exact server settings with regards to the 'weatherRandomness' value (things changed slightly on the server side in 1.0.7). We have some testing going on at the moment (thanks @paleez).

Hopefully this will be sorted out later today, and I can post the server config file as per last week.

NOTE: The race thread originally had:
- Qualifying: Clear

But due to the way ACC server works, this can't happen, the weather variation effects both Quali and the Race. So it may, or may not, rain in either session.

This update brings the following changes to the first 1.0.7 public beta:

- Fix for brake temperatures and brake duct issue when loading saved game
- Fix for driver stint and mandatory pit rules not applying when loading saved game
- Fixed a rare bug that blew the engine when save was performed during gear shift
- Pit limiter warning popup tweaks
- Chat widget slight resizing and less agressive presence
- Repositioned and redesigned server stats widget, option to toggle it in the HUD options
- Special event page cleanup
- Fixed Lexus racelogic display
- Fix for loading screen memory footprint
- Fixed 24h max driver stint total time: the longer the race, the more accurate the total time is
- Fixed suspension damage amount in save games (requires new save file)
- Fixed forced minimum scaling of certain HUD widgets (broadcast, server status etc.) when HUD scaling is used
- Fixed indicator bug on the Lambo ST
- Fixed Porsche Cup collider not interacting with soft objects
- Fixed Porsche Cup driver visibility issues
- Fixed wrong compression setting on several UI assets
- Optimisation in texture memory footprint
- Server performance and timing improved (massively)
- Server logfile is now readable while the server is running
- Tweaks on Ferrari 488 GT3 and Honda NSX Traction Control logic
- Tweaks on all circuits asphalt abrasivity levels and influence on tyre wear
- Tweaks on tyre wear rates

@p4thos 1.0.7 is in BETA and we do not have a way to enforce a version, it is up to the racer to decide what is best for them.

BEST way to test is join Socials/Practices like on Sat.

@Gaborik @DiRTMark @frankodrose BTW please change your in game names to come close to the forum name, does not have to be exact but at least close. YOU CAN ALWAYS change it back after the race but you are relying on me to remember who is who and never a good idea :p

I'm sorry i'll have to miss this race. As i'm a very unorganized person, i had a lot of things to finish for Thursday and i will not have the time to train. so for the race it will just make me lose time while being a danger to other.

Would anyone be kind enough to share what kind of times they are lapping on race pace or quali? Feels like I’m really struggling for setup and pace. And on discord, someone wrote that 1:44/45 was to aim for. Being honest that’s not nearly where I am at the moment :LOL::LOL:

Sounds like T2/T1 times. Im doing 46s race pace rn. Not sure about quali maybe high 45s. If people are doing 44s race pace in T3 i mights start questioning tier placements :p
