I pick the Audi, I'll might loadup a livery before the race tonight after work. If anyone wants to team up send me a massage, but I usually don't have the time for much practice/setup build.

Name: JulianSchmitz
Car: Audi R8 LMS GT3
Custom Livery: Later on
In-Game Team: OBOH - Oh boy oh howdy Racing
Entry Number: 47
@GIXXERosg @VoodooChild
In the race at Nürburgring I started with #48. Not that I care that much about that, but I havent seen anybody else signing up with #47. If I have overseen someone #48 suites the purpose :D

If you joined the lobby, and left, then rejoined again, the lobby may not have released 47 (can take a while I think)
So this could be the issue.
Try joining a lobby again, and see if you get your 47

Regulation regarding the free car change

Here is a little explanation of how Kunos handles the new 2019 BOP.
With the 2019 ACC update, the new cars it introduced, and crucially the new 2019 versions of the tracks it has created a complicated situation with regards to car performance and competitiveness.
At the moment every car can join any online session, but depending on the version of the track that is joined the car may well have a different BOP (Balance Of Performance) applied to it:
  1. If a car that raced in 2018 joins a 2018 track it gets the real 2018 BOP applied (this is the situation we were in before the patch)
  2. If a car that raced in 2019 joins a 2019 track it gets the real 2019 BOP applied
  3. If a car that raced in both 2018 and 2019 joins a 2018 track it gets a real 2018 BOP, if it joins a 2019 track it gets a real 2019 BOP (this is the case for cars like the Ferrari, M6, 2018 Bentley)
  4. If a car that did not race in 2018 joins a 2018 track it gets an estimated 2018 BOP that Kunos applied (this would be the case if you raced the Audi Evo on a 2018 track)
  5. If a car that did not race in 2019 joins a 2019 track it gets an estimated 2019 BOP that Kunos applied (this would be the case if you raced the non-Evo Audi on a 2019 track)
After further testing, we have decided to use the new 2019 track BOP starting from Round 3 at Zolder.
As you read it, it is not mandatory to switch to a 2019 car because 2018 cars (and before like Lambo 2015) will have a custom BOP applied.
That also means, switching to 2019 BOP won’t count as a car change if the car raced both in 2018 and 2019 (Ex: Ferrari or M6)

Here is the list of what we consider a new car.
Any switch to one of these car, counts as a car switch.

ACC S2 2019 Car Change.jpeg

This means switching from Audi 2018 to Audi 2018 Evo counts as a car switch and any more switch results in point reset.
Updated BOP from an older car does not count as a car switch.

If you want to change car, please notice it in the Car Selection Thread of your tier, and fill the template as usual.

Comming back to the livery change i made, the new livery i wanted is part of the 2019 bentley. Did some laps with the 2019 bentley and noticed that that car has a different handling model than the 2018 version. I am going to do some testing today and tomorrow and wil then decide if i wil go for the 2018 or 2019 version.

If I understand things correctly, 2018 cars with 2019 BOP are a bit faster but more difficult.

So if its a change in overall handling, shouldnt we just move forward and change the cars to the 2019 versions and period? I feel it'd be more consequent

There are a limited amount of "true" 2019 cars i.e. "Evo's". In the IRL series 2018 cars ran but had 2019 BOP applied to them.

I'll probably be switching to the 2019 Porsche but will confirm once I've tested it.
If anybody wants to team up (is that still possible?) let me know

I think the problem lays in the fact that if you use a ''2019'' car on a 2018 track, it will ''tune'' your ''2019'' car so its not overpowered for the 2018 cars. When doing this, for me, it felt like the car handels completly different then when i go with the ''2019'' car on the 2019 track, and it seems to go the same the other way round

custom liveries don't work on the 720, turns the car all black with no race number
