NOTE: Server settings changed from "weatherRandomness": 3 to "weatherRandomness": 2, as using 3 occasionally resulted in short heavy rain downpours during the race.

As interesting as that might well be, with the length of the pitlane, and considering it is the final race of the season, it was decided to reduce the chance of this happening to try to ensure that the final race of the season is a full on race, is less likely to be decided by luck, and to have a more consistent experience across the tiers.

@Dan_Suzuki If you have sharpening turned on in the nvidia control panel, and you are running the latest official 445.75 nvidia drivers the the game will crash on startup.

You need to either disable sharpening, or install the hotfix driver:

I guess I'm taking Lady Luck on a nice date, it's the least she deserves considering how my race went. :ROFLMAO:

In the first laps @M. Nobel was faster than me while @Giuseppe Montalbano and @Mikhail Statcenko were both slower; which prompted me to not defend too much, hoping to run my normal pace while Mike would put pressure on Mikhail which would make passing for myself easier. Made a stupid mistake and ended up spinning at Chicane... For some reason after my pitstop my pressures were around +1psi than they should have been but somehow it made no difference at all in how the car was handling; which I find super weird given that I tried running 28+psi when making my setup and was sliding everywhere. (rare display bug ?)
While behind the Hosseini/Honzik/Lozanov train I made a small mistake which cost me around 1.5sec but I believe saved me from being involved when Hosseini and Honzik crashed a few minutes after. A bit later I found myself in a similar situation as the start where @Kristiyan Lozanov was faster than me while the two Porsches in front were slower. This time my gamble actually worked and after letting Kristiyan by I was able to pass both Porsches thanks to them defending and losing time to the Ferrari. Because I didn't check the championship standings until after the race, this means I end up 2 points short of 7th.

Half of my season salvages the wreck that is the other half, which I'm actually happy about. Means what I thought after every bad race wasn't true. Will definitely be part of season 4 hoping to be a title contender this time. :)
By then I hope I'll have made some more progress in dealing with CPTSD so that it messes less with my racing.

My replay :

Thank you, I will give this a try. I'm running a custom color correction profile (for streaming) - maybe I also had sharpening enabled.

Not the best luck from my side yesterday, had a very decent pace for the race (did a 19.6 on second lap), but spoiled it by a stupid spin on the second fast left handed on sector 2 trying to overtake Yorkie on lap 3 and got 22+ sec damage.

After that I though of just parking the car, but kept running with damage until I could pit and fill in the tank to finish the race and I have to say this was the best decision I made. @Max Melamed also had bad luck with incidents early on, so he was on a similar situation and we basically raced together with very close fights for more than 1 hour! Very interesting to see the huge difference of our setups (low downforce for me and high downforce for him) and overall very fun!

A bit of a bitter taste to not be able to fight for a top 10 finish, but overall it was fun =)

Thanks all the coordinators for organising this awesome season, specially @paleez for coordinating this tier! Congrats everyone that participated and provided an awesome show =)

Looking forward for a next season and if I stay on elite tier looking forward to be able to fight for some top 10 results =D

And so a great season came to a end. I would wish we had 2 more rounds or even more a never ending league. But just a matter of time when we will race here again.
Fight us and share great moments togheter on track, thats what i love about the AOR. The level of mature driving this season was awsome. Great racing in every round.

I wanna say thanks @paleez for your work, for your calm type, and all the stress you had these 8 weeks. Without a coordinator nothing would run here. So thank you
that you do this in your free time, and handle with a bunch of drivers like us here.

Some rewind to the time where the league was one week before the start. I didnt expected here much, i was more likely Top 10 finishs should be a goal.
Nothing more to go i tought, the field this season was really strong, most likely the strongest so far.

5 days before the start of the season, our beloved dog had to go to doggy heaven. Wasnt easy to focus for the first round. But it ended with a 3rd. place.
Never expected this, and for sure it was also luck that amir had a dc there to gain this position. So i tought, allright, atleast a podium in the pocket for me.
Should be not do able again i tought.

In the last 3 rounds i was really weak, the consistency was gone, to many mistakes, less practice was done like before. A mistake where i learn again something from this.
At the end i can call me happy, and i am happy. 4. 3rd places, and also 3rd in the championship. Never expected this result.

I also wanna say thanks to my great teammate @LuckyW all the season pushing us to get better and better. I cant wish me a better teammate as you are.
And so we archived the 1. place in the unlisted team championship. A strong result for us, and a sign we are on the same level and fit good togheter like @EikeSky said it once.

Also a big thanks goes to @EikeSky & @AndrexUK for doing the broadcasting job at us for the last 6 rounds. Enjoyed the interviews with you, even when i was always out of breath.
You where doing a excellent job, hopefully we see you both again in season 4!

Last but not least @dbr93 (K. Siclari congrats to the championship, you really really deserved this, no mistakes a strong performance every race from you!
It shows me there is always time to improve, and the race in hungary will stay long in my memory, 90 minutes chasing you, but couldent get you.

I say thank you to all who raced with us, see you all hopefully next season again!

Now I can look back on a wonderful season, that topped my expectations by far!

Overall I put in a lot of effort into the preparation and it paid of most of the times. There were 2 rounds or so where I realised that warm up before the race is equally important as preparation in the days before, but at least it justified our team name.

I‘m glad that @V.Korus joined me as a teammate, because I was very... let‘s say „dedicated“ with the car choice this season. Thanks for your nice words, I can only hand the same back to you!

Thanks @paleez for doing an excellent job. Same goes for our broadcasters this season!

It was a pleasure to race with all of you this season. Stay healthy and keep sim racing :)
