Given how far you were when I did this trying to break the tow (usually +0.5s or more at the beginning of the straight iirc) I thought that was perfectly fine. If someone was closer (or closing in a lot faster) I obviously wouldn't do that. Neither the commentators or the people watching my stream seemed to think any of this was wrong.
The stewards reviewed @S56D 's behavior in the provided evidence video, and concluded that the weaving on the straight to "break the tow" was not against the rule 1.3.
In the video, the cars were too far apart in the mistral straight to consider them engaged in an overtake opportunity, and when @dbr93 (K. Siclari 's porsche got closer, the mercedes correctly stopped weaving, and defended only one line.
