AOR Formula Renault 2.0 Championship Season 9
Round 10: Spa

Information:
Date:
18th May 2018
Time: 19:30 BST Practice, 20:30 BST Qualifying, approx 20:40 BST Race

Remember to let us know in advance in the absence PM if you are unable to attend the race!

Circuit:
Track:
Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps - GP Pits
Time of Day: Afternoon
Weather: To be updated in comments

Stuff:

- This will be the final of four longer 60 minute races.
- I believe, that after the latest round at Brands Hatch, Rene Osterkamp has taken the lead in the total points scored table. Congrats to Rene for both sticking it out for so long and also improving over that time as well to become one of the fastest out there.
- Spa
- Spa is in Belgium, which my sources tell me, is not Japan.
- Speaking of Japan

But also

If you didn't know, this was the crash that was much talked about at the 6 hrs of Spa but was never shown on TV.... So it was nothing to worry about then. Driver is all good.
This is the most Spa related thing I could think of in a short time.

Standings:

Drivers Championship

Teams Championship

Tier Championships

Results to the tier championships can be found here, in the main results page

Stats Catch-up:
(Nothing after Donington from what I can see...)

Brands Hatch
- I believe, that after the latest round at Brands Hatch, Rene Osterkamp has taken the lead in the total points scored table. Congrats to Rene for both sticking it out for so long and also improving over that time as well to become one of the fastest out there.
  • Can confirm. @Osterkamp moves ahead with 2,705 points. The top 3 are very close, with Reid / @McPhilen on 2,690 and @J-F Godin on 2,681.
  • @Osterkamp tied 3rd place for total podiums (45) in the Feature, and untied 3rd place (46) after the Sprint.
  • Reid / @McPhilen entered his 200th Grand Prix in the Sprint race.
I think that's all for now :)

Dire quali and basically last. I was flying through the first lap and wondered why....hadn't put the fuel in...... so had to pit after 5 laps and then pit again later in the race. Found a good rhythm at points, and managed to get 14th sooo a decent recovery.

I've now dropped people' worst long races from the results table if neccessary
