Notices:
● Rules & regulations:
Before you take the car to the track in the social race, make sure you are fully aware of the rules and regulations of the race. As a driver in our social events, you are required to do your very best to ensure clean and fair racing at all times.
● No-shows: If you are unable to attend the race, please inform the League Coordinator and leave a post in this thread BEFORE the race takes place.

● Main race startingorder (DNFs will start from the back):
To get into the right position for the main race is quite simple. When the lights go out, everyone starts to drive at a speed of around 10mph (16kph) and stay as far to the edge of the track as they can. This will give room in the middle of the track for cars to pass. Everyone start to look after the car they are supposed to behind and fall inline behind that car. We have tried this before and everyone should be in the correct place before sector 1 is completed on the formation lap. Once everyone is in place, we will continue with the normal formation lap (50mph (80kph), warming tyres and brakes up to formation point). It is easy to see on the mini-map when everyone looks to be in place.

I put in some practice laps last night and managed a 51.119, which I was very happy with and I don't think I could have done any better than that. My main challenge is to keep it on the island - there were a lot of spins last night

Very unlikely that I will make this race, if I will they I will do so late.

Really started to hate online racing with not so good of a host. In the lobby, I kept getting a disconnect with a few other. :( Just very unhappy as it's not my end as I hosted the special event and was tested before the tonight's race.

absolute carnage on race 2! due to the reverse grid, i started on 2nd, but i knew my pace was really off and was not even trying to race anyone. thought i would mainly stay off the racing line and let the faster people around me go by as the race progressed.

opening lap, got bumped at druids, was on the outside at druids, that becomes the inside of graham hill.... from there crashed (sorry to those who got caught up in it).... pit, rejoined at effectively a lap down....

as luck would have it, immediately got taken out at graham hill again, i think by @washy03 ... but that's how racing goes...

Qualified 4th, which I think is probably where I should have finished in race 1, but I just kept losing it on the exit of Druids!! Came from the back to finish 8th (I think!)

Race 2, I was starting 3rd and I knew I had the pace to contend for the win (not the consistency however!!), but got a bump in the back from desperatetoplay (not sure who that is on here), which made me run wide and I got a warning to give the place back and stupidly decided to wait for everyone, not knowing everyone had been caught up in the wreck. I should have just floored it and took the 2 second penalty. Finally worked out Druids, but decided to have a few trips through the gravel at Clearways  and ended up 5th.

All in all, great fun. Good to be racing online again. See you again next week... in the rain :ROFLMAO:.

I’m excited to watch this tomorrow when when in the office!

Edit: Just watched! That's crazy! I thought it all happened as a result of me getting bumped up front.
