No problem, I'm interested in why this happens. Not sure how much help I am, just giving a few ideas to try.First, Thanks @poisike78 for helping me out here.
The basic precautions are all on my screen.
In my house internally I do use LAN copper cable connected directly to Router/Modem. My badwidth is 50MBit/s down and 8MBit upload. The ISP gives me good stability. It is my private DSL access and my wife suffers during wednesday races to not use internet, such as streaming but also surfing ;-)
According to what I see in the last T5 race other were DC too. reason of course unclear. I see it happening in higher tiers as well - sporadically.
I will give the new install a try and try to relax if it happens next wednesday again...
Can You maybe join Tuesdays practice race? I'm hosting this one, so we could test if host matters. It shouldn't as it is using P2P connections, but You never know with PC2.
Have You tried restarting your Router/Modem before a race? I had my share of problems with DSL routers provided by ISP when I still had a DSL connection. If I wanted a good connection with low ping then I had to restart it at least once a week.
I have one guy in T4 that always seems to drop out in transition from lobby to quali. If I remember correctly then a few have reported random drop outs. I personally have never dropped out except the mass disconnects we had in last season. I have a fiber connection thats quite good with low latency.
