I would like to remind you all that we pay attention to rage-quitting the lobbies (leaving the lobby while others are racing) any time during the race or qually. It has caused lag in previous seasons and may be a factor in what some people are experiencing this season.

It is prohibited by the rules and may result in penalty points or disqualification.

So, ... If you think you have to/want to retire from the race and there is no option to continue, just click on "retire from the session", BUT STAY IN THE LOBBY TILL END. Let your pc and game run, feel free to move out to TV or out with friends, but please, do not destroy the race for others.

Thanx in advance ;)
(and thanx to @mikeself whose wording I have blatantly plagiarized)

Hi guys in tier 5.

Sad to say I’m moving from tier 5 to tier 3 due to my pace in the first two races.
It’s a shame to go as I’ve come to like you guys a lot! Hopefully I’ll see you all online and about in game.

Many thanks to you all for a great first couple of races.

It’s a bye a from me! Adíos!

Thanks to Loteli! Rock Tier 3 for us ;)

It's really sad that we lost two drivers so early. Hopefully the grid fill up again with some new drivers.

hi guys, i have a setup question.
-what is the ideal temp range for the brakes on the r8
-what is the ideal temp range for the tyres?
- ideal tyrew pressure. currently running softs on long beach..... dont know if i should go for hards instead.
thanx in advance!

at our kinda pace you should be on softs. (hards will only work if you are pushing them really hard all the time - T1 sort of pace)

brakes should be in the 300's - 400's when not in use...tyres like to be around 80c (over 90c and you're in danger of a spin - even if it's only one tyre)

ideal pressures are normally around 1.8bar. Generally lower pressure = more grip/more heat

you need to open up the brake ducts quite a lot to keep the tyre temps down.

reducing the camber a bit helps keep the tyres cooler too.

Run preload on diff at about 160 to prevent spins when lifting off throttle.

you can also run a lot of downforce without sacrificing much speed as there are no real straight, but a lot of tricky corners.

I run with softs. and 1.75bar front and 1.73bar rear.

but i know that other players run with lower pressure (around 1.6bar)
