Gentle reminder to be careful on this track, at pit exit, at the hairpin braking zone, and generally with the curbs.

I expect there's going to be a lot of dodging debris on this one. It's the worst place to have reverse grids on, LOL

WTF... First time I did this circuit in privat practice. First lap didn't even make it round at REDUCED speed  .After 1 hour of practice managed to get round in a decent time. But needed to be very careful. one little mistake and you loose bodyparts. AND THOSE curves...... This is not normal. Now I understand that they call the racing pilots 20 years ago Hero's or people with supernatural powers . Its going to be a wreckfest on wednesday. The one who can dodge the best wins the race LOL :ROFLMAO:

You have to change your mindset and race like a 60s driver, not a modern one. It means driving at 90-95% of the limit rather than 100% , and anticipate that you will mostly use the middle of the road. It's a middle ground beween circuit racing and rally, you have to pick your battles between when to attack and when to leave some margin.

Indeed, I came to the same conclusion. Don't go for the 100% but leave room for adjustment. And like always, be patient and at the Corners, Slow in, Fast out.

with my basic setup i did a 1:56 (after an hour practice ) . Seems i need to tweak a lot because my straightline speed is not sufficient.

Remember this ;)
● Standing Start: In-game Standing Start (for sprint races of the 2-race rounds only)
So the sprint race will have a standing start and the feature race will have the AOR Rolling start with reverse top 8 results from the sprint race.

So qualifying will determine the sprint race and we will take off as soon as the lights go out.

Then, on feature race, does the admin make the grid?

Or do we just start it with a gris made of the sprint race finishing order, and shuffle manually during the formation lap?

sprint race is racing as soon as the lights go out.
Feature race we will be standing on the grid as we finished last race. then wait 5 second, do a formation lap and during that lap reverse the top 8! and at the end a regular AOR rolling start

Unfortunate there is no option for the admin to determine the starting grid.

● Starting order main race: Normally we all start in the position we have qualified in. But since we have a starting order that is based on the top half from the the sprint race, we need to place ourselves correctly during the formation lap. When the lights go out, everybody starts to move slowly around 10mph (16kph). Remember to stay as far to the left or right on the track to make it easier for cars to pass. Remember your starting position (obviously) but also who is in the position right in front of you.

@CHRSMELLYANAN could you post the screenshots from the results after the first race in the PSN chat Tier 4, so everybody can have a look where they need to start.
Please all remember you starting position.
