I'm not a fan of this track, I just don't enjoy driving it so I'm not expecting anything more than my usual last place in qualifying and maybe make up a place or 2 in the race due to other peoples mistakes/connection issues/steering wheel problems. (n)

Dude that's pretty much how I started! Nothing wrong with that! To finish first, first you have to finish! I'm awful on single lap pace. Qualy should be banned!

My qualifying pace never seems to be any different from my race pace, but in the 6 races I have been in the league my race pace has got a lot more competitive.

Anyone have any idea how I can stop my front left tyre melting?
No, I don't... Tested some long stint earlier and it's not to bad even if the front left gets very hot (up to 110C) it cools down on the straights. If you, in the race, take it a little bit easy in some of the right turns and you should be ok.

It indicates that Your front/rear balance is wrong. Your car is under steering, which means that You should try to change this so that the over steering can help You get round the corner. Just be careful not to over do it. It's a known fact that some tracks are harder on front tires than others.

actually that does make me feel better :D

I think we are the only ones who use a pad still, maybe its something to do with that on this track?

I'm down to 1:39.5 in quali and between 1:40.3 to 1:41.0 in long runs with full fuel. Haven't testetd full race distance yet so I don't know how bad the tyre wear is on front left.
