Nice to have this topic, I think it's a good idea to have two smaller races... Mix's up the pack especially in sprint race.
I have been away for this season but now it's time to join back in racing :) Oh, And what come's to a Broadcast/race recap videos, Donating would be a good idea :)

The only problem you will have is if someone is out of the first race by the first corner or shortly after, they may not be interested in waiting around for 50 mins on a friday night for the next race to happen.
Yeah very true! Can't force him to stay indeed but now they don't get a second chance at all and with the new format they can have another go, if they want, if not then so be it I guess

Id rather wait 50 minutes for another chance rather than having wasted me evening completely by being out on lap 1 and that's that. 70 minutes practice, 15 minutes qualifying for a 20second race.

Also, you won't need to stick around. You can always go and do something for that time and come back.

Just as a heads up, there is a strong chance that we will be running a pre-season race just to get ourselves acquainted with how to setup the sessions and what needs to go into creating a reverse grid, etc. Right now we don't know exactly how to do this, other than we will need two sessions which is why it should be okay to leave a session and do something else in between (perhaps even a little more practice if you fancy it). This race should hopefully give us a great time estimate for how long a race night will take, and also it will be good to give people a taste of how the races will go. We shall see how it all works out when/if it comes to it.

We dont often have ppl out in first corners...but even if it does happen we cut 25 minutes of the practise time so we still finish 9:40/945 pm...when you crash out soon you can either grab a beer and watch some porn or tune in at the live broadcasting stream if thats more satisfying :D

This is a very fair point. Perhaps 1 free quick repair for the feature race only would be a good idea? Just a thought.

Quick repairs were removed to prevent any potential advantages being gained in the pit stop phase. The only solution to this is to eliminate pit stops completely.

Yeah exactly so I would just say no to quick repairs. If someone crashes and doesn't want a second chance, then that is their decision right
