Why is there a break scheduled for the Mexican-GP, but not for the US-GP?
Because the Qualifying for the GP of the USA starts at 9pm UK time and the F2 races are scheduled to endure an hour which ends in an clash between the start of Q1 and the end of the Sprint Race...

The rounds take about 1 hour. Worst case is you miss about 5mins of Q1. That was not deemed significant enough to move the whole calendar by a week. Also we did not want to have two break weeks after round 1 nor did we want to push the league start back as it would have started in November.

@S4lty In addition to what Thompson wrote above:

The Qualifying for the Mexican GP starts at 7pm uk. The league race starting at 8pm means we would have to get on Discord, set everything up and start right when Q3 is going on.
The Qualifying for the US GP starts at 9pm uk, which means it starts right when we are done or have 5 minutes to go with the F2 league races for that week.

This way noone misses the crucial Q3 of a qualifying session, nor do we have to skip another week (and thus move all races one week further).
