Manual Rolling Start Information:
Formation Point:

Acceleration Zone:

If you are unsure about the Manual Rolling Start procedure, please read the instructions and watch the explanatory video.
● Once the leader of the single file train has pulled away, they can accelerate up to a speed of 80mph/130kph and will then maintain that throughout the lap, slowing down clearly and gradually for any corners that require slower speeds, and then accelerating up to the limit of 80mph/130kph. The rest of the drivers in the train are to follow the leader around the lap, sticking to a similar pace and maintaining safe distances to drivers around them for tyre and braking warming.
● At the formation point, the leader will slow down to 50mph/80kph and the 2nd placed driver, will pull alongside to form a second train. Pole will ALWAYS start on the side where he can defend the inside to first corner.

Notices:
● Rules & regulations:
Before you take to the track in the league race, make sure you are fully aware of the rules and regulations of the leagues. As a driver in our leagues, you are required to do your very best to ensure clean and fair racing at all times.
● No-shows: If you are unable to attend the race, please inform the Tier Coordinator and leave a post in this thread BEFORE the race takes place. Note the rules of participation here.
● Lobby settings: If you are unsure about the lobby settings that will be used, look here.
● Save your replay: As a means of helping the stewards with any enquiries, all drivers are required to save their race replays and keep it stored for at least one week after the race has taken place. If you are involved in an incident or see something during the race that you feel needs to be investigated, you are free to make a stewards enquiry - however if enquiries are submitted without replay or race footage available, it is likely we can't do anything.

Have had my first practise session and after about 1.5h I'm stable at 1:46.2 with a best lap of 1:45.8. No quali runs yet...

You guys are too fast for me here..... I'm lucky to race in another tier
I did compare the times from S2 where we also used the Ligiers (only one tier that season) and I did a 1:49.7 in quali... But I think it was warmer track that time and all had to go with Hards. This time you can use Softs :)

True, but softs don't last long... one stint only, 40-45 mins... at least with my actual setup
I suppose we will see some driver lapping in stable 45 with some 44 or 43 here in Dubai (with these track conditions)

I think we use very different setups. Can't get the Hards warm enough where as the Softs are peaking at 105° on front left for me.

i'm pretty hard on my tyres, for me the softs reaching 100C is too high, i find them very unpredictable above 95C

It's only at the end of sector 1 they get that warm. They have cooled down to 85 by the end of the long straight.

I haven't done any long runs yet and that might be an issue for the softs...

Hi guys. Unfortunately, I cannot participate in the race because of traveling. This should be my last missing of the race this season. Thanks for understanding. I wish all of you the best results. Good luck!

Hey guys just wanna get some of your opinions on this quickly!! Tyres! I tried both types of tires. I feel the softs would be good for 1 stint only and then change them at the first stop however with the hard tyres, yes they warm up quickly cause the track temp is high but I am sliding around a lot even with warm tyres and downforce!! My times are around 45/46s but I’m still debating what types to start on

Any opinion welcome lol
