This thread contains general information about the AOR Rally Leagues on all platforms (XB1, PS4 and PC), such as league structure, assist restrictions etc.

General Information
● League setup: This season we will have two championships, Modern Championship and Classic Championship. The Modern Championship will take over where the Pro and Rookie Championships in S1 took off. To compensate for the number of drivers these 2 championships have been merged. The Classic Rally League has been renamed to the Classic Championship and will still serve the same purpose, to enable people to experience classic cars in all of their glory.

● Rally format: The season consists of 5 rally events, each with 8 stages, of which the 8th stage will be a power stage. Each stage will have different weather, time, length and complexity settings.

● Day/time: Every round is opened for a full week (00:00 Monday - 23:30 Sunday) which gives the drivers plenty of time to complete the rallies.

Notable Dates:
● Sign-up opens: 14/03/18
● Season begins: 09/04/18
● Season duration: 5 weeks
● Season ends: 20/05/18

Tier Structure

Because of there being no difference in performance between the platforms on DiRT 4 we will have combined results & standings in both tiers.

In the Modern Championship the competing drivers will be using modern cars to fight for the Rally Championship, drivers in this championship will range from amateur to professional drivers.

The Classic Rally League is open to all. This league has been added to give extra competition to those that desire it, and to offer a more fun and nostalgic feel to the Championship structure in season four.

Rally Classification

Points system:

The point system we will be using this season will be based on the points systems of Season 3. This system will take into consideration how many drivers are participating in the Championship and award points based on that.

● Power Stages:

This season we'll be introducing Power Stages into the Rally format. Power Stages will function like they do in WRC, the last stage of each rally will server a secondary purpose aside from being a normal stage. On top of it's normal function the top 5 of that stage will receive the following points:
  1. 5 Points
  2. 4 Points
  3. 3 Points
  4. 2 Points
  5. 1 Points
These points will count towards the Drivers' and Constructors' Championship standings.

DNF / DNS:

What is important in this league is aiming at completing the events. Getting a DNF because of for example having an unrecoverably car is obviously nothing to do anything about but otherwise it's important to complete the events. Either DNF / DNS is seen negatively. Enough DNS' can also result in getting removed from the leagues. You can read about this in the league rules.

Championship standings

● Drivers and constructors are ranked in the standings based on how many points they've scored over the course of the season.

● If two or more drivers or constructors are tied on points, the higher place in the standings will be awarded to the holder of most first places. If the number of first places is the same, the holder of most second places, then third places, and so on until a winner emerges.

Who to Contact

We have a number of DiRT Coordinators for you to contact. All coordinators are responsible for each league, however, the co-ordinators have been given specific leagues to have more input on. If you want to speak about something directly concerning the platform you're on, it may be good to contact a coordinator that is on that platform.

Example reasons to contact them could be:

● To inform them that you're missing a round
● To get information about your league
● If you are unhappy about something, either with regards to a rally or on the forums

DiRT 4 Coordinators:

@SereneLogic - Modern Championship - Classic Championship
@Maddog40 - Modern Championship - Classic Championship
@Hayden_430 - Modern Championship - Classic Championship
