General Information
League Setup
The Rallycross League is separated for each platform, unlikely the Rally League, and will feature a single tier on each of these platforms. In the unlikely circumstance that there are more sign-ups than we can handle, a second tier will be created.

Day/Time
Each round will take place on a saturday, starting at 7:30pm BST. The schedules for the upcoming round will be released 2 hours before the start, thus 5:30pm BST.

Rallycross Format
Season 5 will consist of 10 rounds. These will take place on the full circuits of each available location (Catalunya, Montalegre, Mettet, Silverstone, Hell, Höljes, Trois-Rivières and Lohéac).

Heats
In order to accomodate for the new stream every race will be raced separately from each other. The starting grid of the each heat is determined at random by a randomizer.

At the end of each heat, depending on the results, heat points will be distributed to the drivers based on their race time compared to the other drivers, with the fastest gaining the most points and the slowest gaining the least.

Semi-Final
After all 3 heats have been driven, the top 10 will move on to the semi-finals. The starting grid of the semi-finals will be decided as follows:
  • All uneven numbers will participate in the first semi-final, all even will participate in the second semi-final
  • The starting grid will be decided by the game at random
The starting grid will be randomly decided by the game. After the starting grid has been prepared, the race will run and the top 2 each semi-final will go through.

Sudden Death Final
After the semi-finals have been run, the drivers who finished 3rd and 4th in each semi-final will face off against each other for a last chance entry into the final, where the winner of the SD-final goes through. No points are awarded in this final.

Final
The starting grid is determined by the finishing positions of the semi-final races, where the starting grid is determined at random by the game.

Allowed Assists
In this league the only assists that are allowed are Automatic Gears. Meaning that Traction Control, Anti-Lock Brakes, Stability Control and Launch Control have been disabled. These assists have been banned because they give a mechanical advantage to the car, and detract from the driver requirement in racing.

If anyone is found using these assists they’ll be immediately disqualified from the championship and removed from the league.

Points System

Heat Points

Heat points are awarded according to each driver's time in each heat, rather than their finishing position in that specific race. For both heats 1 and 2, drivers score points for there position in the following format: 50, 45, 42, 40, 39, 38 etc. These points are added from heats one and two, and converted into 16 points for the overall winner, down to 1 point for the 16th highest placing driver, and 0 points for drivers 17th and below.

Semi-Final Points
Each driver racing in the semi-final will receive championship points based on their finishing position, with the winner getting 6 points, down to 2 points for the person finished 5th.

Final Points
Each driver racing in the final will receive championship points based on their finishing position, with the winner getting 8 points, second position getting 5 points, down to 2 points for the person finished 5th.

DNF/DNS
What is important in this league is aiming at completing the events. Getting a DNF because of for example having an unrecoverably car is obviously nothing to do anything about but otherwise it's important to complete the events. Either DNF / DNS is seen negatively. Enough DNS' can also result in getting removed from the leagues. You can read about this in the league rules. You must inform a coordinator if you know you will be absent from an event.

Championship Standings
  • Drivers and constructors are ranked in the standings based on how many points they've scored over the course of the season.
  • If two or more drivers or constructors are tied on points, the higher place in the standings will be awarded to the holder of most first places. If the number of first places is the same, the holder of most second places, then third places, and so on until a winner emerges.

Who To Contact
For the Rallycross Leagues we have a specific team of coordinators for each will be running the respective leagues. The coordinator team on each platform will announce the running schedule for each event of the season hours before it is due to begin, at 5:30PM BST. Throughout the event the coordinator will also announce the lobbies that will be taking place as a result of prior races, so it is important to keep in contact with the coordinator on the forums throughout each event of the season.

If you want to speak about something directly concerning the platform you're on, it may be good to contact a coordinator that is on that platform.

Example reasons to contact them could be:
  • To inform them that you're missing a race
  • To get information about your league
  • If you are unhappy about something, either with regards to a rally or on the forums

Tier System*

Starting the season is a 5 week long period in which people can fill in the necessary sign-up form for Drivers and Teams in order to enter them in this season for AOR Rallycross. The sign-up forms are noted down below.

Would you be willing to act as an Officiator: [Yes/No] --> Take in mind that Officiators are key to running this league and its lobbies
Car Selection: [Enter your car choice here]

Team Sign-Up Form

Driver #2: [Enter the name of your second driver here]
Driver #3: [Enter the name of your second driver here]
Vehicle: [Teams are required to use the same car as each other]

Time Trial
After the sign-up period the DiRT Coordinators will release a thread containing a list of RX tracks, which all participants have to send in their Time Trial times. All signed-up participants have until the end of the second week to send in their Time Trial times in the form of a screenshot as a reply to the original thread posted by the DiRT Coordinators.

After which the DiRT Coordinators will check every single time for deviations, corner cuts, track extensions, etc. If any driver is found to be cheating their way into a faster Time Trial time, they'll be punished accordingly in the form of a time penalty added on to their Time Trial times.

Evaluation Races
The week after the Time Trials have been sent in, the DiRT Coordinators will release a thread detailing which drivers will be in which Evaluation Races. These will always be held at the following times:
  • 7:30PM BST
  • 8:00PM BST
  • 8:30PM BST
  • 9:00PM BST
  • 9:30PM BST
It's possible to switch places with other participants, given both participants agree to switch places. This agreement is then to be communicated towards @SereneLogic, so that he may adjust the schedule appropriately. If in any case you find yourself unable to attend these Evaluation Races, contact @SereneLogic to discuss alternative ways to evaluate you before the end of the week. We urge you to do this as soon as possible, because failure to attend evaluation of any kind will have an effect your placement.

Drivers Placements
After all Evaluation Races have been held, the DiRT Coordinators will look at all Time Trial times and all Evaluation Race results to come up with driver placements that represent the drivers' pace and race-craft as accurately as possible. The placements coming out of this are final and can't be overturned.

* A Tier System will only be implement on platforms that have reached more than 30 active participants. If this isn't the case, none of the aforementioned Time Trials, Evaluation Races, etc. will take place.
