Hey i hope we can get this to work :D

First a video to explain it all a bit more

How do i test if my livery fits the new decal layers??
You download the decal TGA fill for youre car/class so a driver in the Ferrari and an AM driver will take the 488 Am TGA. TGA file is what you will need to put in the Documents/iRacing/paint/(car name) folder where you name the file car_decal_xxxxx.tga where the "xxxxx" is your iRacing ID. How to find youre iRacing ID is shown in the video.

But how do i then save my skin?
In the iRacing templet there is a red part the i called "Turn Off Before Exporting TGA" you need to turn it off as it says and save it as car_xxxxx.tga where the "xxxxx" is your iRacing ID. How to find youre iRacing ID is shown in the video.

When you are don with youre skin and want to send it to the Skin Pack then just send me the car_xxxxx.tga fill via a link in the sign up that i will make, or in a pm to me on AOR with the class you are driving in. All skins must be sent to me lastest sunday 16.09.2018 at 13 uk time.

We highly encourage everyone to do this. It's not mandatory, because we're not going to risk lose sign ups over it :)

Just be aware too @Niclas Domino, after someone has done two rounds, we'll evaluate their tier position, so people may need it altered.

If we do it like this it means we can only use self-made skins right? Searching for a decal on trading paints which is available for the public won´t work then as you can´t download their TGA files. Or can you and I just didn´t find it? :p

well, you can get any TGA from trading paints. Just select it, start any session (incl. test) and it downloads the paint and puts it into the right folder in iRacing. Fish it out while still being in the session.

So are we going to use this ?
If only 5 people have it on their car it not really worth it

having my beer now... ;)

applied it, looks really nice. minor adjustments needed.
the AM on the hood could be removed and maybe @Argon , could we move that GT Omega logo, or replace it with their new wing-logo and place it a bit further back? that should prevent the overlap

Ill change the gt omega logo. Though the AM on the hood is a bit impractical for a skin pack @Niclas Domino. Everyone is making the livery based on the default placement of iRacing mandatory elements. Not sure where I would move that text tbh.

thanks! @Niclas Domino would it be possible to drop that AM on the hood?
