AOR Triple Crown Events

Trippple.png

AOR are proud to present the Triple Crown Events! This series of special events will put you through three of the toughest challenges in motorsport:

Indy 500, Le Mans and Monaco GP

Project CARS 2 has offered us the unique opportunity to host three very special events in motorsport. Three events all drivers want to win at some point in their life, but only a few will succeed. Three events that are completely different to one another. One is a 200 laps long high speed oval race where it is always close racing, not only to other cars but also to the walls. One is a challenging multi-class endurance race at the historic Circuit de la Sarthe with some of the most advanced cars to date. And one is a 78 laps long race in high-tech formula cars where the walls either are your friends or your enemies when you navigate the wealthy parts of Monte-Carlo.

These three events will be held across the year, and will be available on all 3 platforms - PC, PS4 & XB1. Hopefully this will also be a reoccuring thing going forward. First out of the events is the Indy 500 at the 2nd of June. The other events will be announced at a later date.

Winning one of these events will put you in the AOR history books. You will also recieve a title to your AOR profile as a winner of an official Triple Crown event. It is time to make your own history in AOR and maybe win all three events in your career!

Three events, three challenges and three crowned winners, will you be one of them?

Individual forum threads will be made for each event in due time, so make sure you keep an eye on the Special Events forum!

Quick question: For Le Mans we are doing all 3 classes on all 3 platforms aren't we.(Maybe not all in the same lobby. On consoles you can do 2 classes per lobby as their will probably be more than 16 Sign-Ups.

Will it? Does it say anywhere? It doesn't I'm afraid by the looks of it we can participate in all 3. I don't see anything about just taking part in one race, then again hardly any information has been released but since there is so little information i don't believe what you say is true, just saying

You can just enter 1 because:
-The dates are going to be throughout the year.No one can guarantee that they are free in October at this stage.
-The styles of racing are very different so you may absolutely hate 1 of the events.
-The issues with Indycar oval on a controller means that many controller uses will not participate at Inidanapolas.
-Their is nothing to suggest that they will all be held on Saturdays.
-It only mentions winning the race as an achievemnent, not a championship.
-The special events section is for one-off races.

But there is no stopping someone from doing all three though, anyways it's up to the person whether they participate or not, i'm doing all three for sure.

You guys are talking over each other's heads :p
You can choose to do one event, you can choose to do two events and you can also choose to do all three. Completely up to you. There is no binding contract that says you have to do all once you've signed up for one :)

You will sign up to each event individually.
When will sign ups for Indy 500 open? Plus in the case of more than 16 drivers will there be another lobby? From inspection Indy Car is a very popular category and i'm sure a lot of people are gonna want to take part in this.
