AOR Hype Energy F1 Leagues - Season 18
XB1 - Initial Driver Placements

Below you can find an overview of the league tiers and driver placements for Season 18 of the AOR Hype Energy F1 Leagues on the Xbox platform!

In a continuation of last season's number of drivers, we have again seen a very high number of drivers signed up for the leagues on the Xbox platform. For this season we have seen around 150 sign-ups, which has resulted in a total of 6 main leagues and 2 assist leagues! As ever, there has been incredible competition for places, consequentially providing a lot of hard decisions for the coordinating team determining the tier of each and every driver, and I'd like to give them a big thanks for their efforts throughout this period.

Assist structure:
As in the previous season, the top 3 tiers will have all assists (including racing line and auto gears) banned. F4-F6 will still allow racing line and auto gears for those that do need them, while TC & ABS are only allowed in the assist leagues.

Live broadcasts:
At the moment we have an official commentary team confirmed for the top league (F1). This will be broadcasted on the official AOR YouTube channel!

How drivers were placed:
When deciding where each driver should be placed, we have considered multiple factors: the driver's Time Trial times submitted as part of the sign-up process, the driver's league performances in Season 17 (for returning drivers), the driver's evaluation race performance and in some cases general knowledge of the driver's ability.

Drivers who failed to submit correct time trial times have not been included in the placements. Any drivers who missed out will be able to sign up again when the sign-ups re-open, most likely soon after the first race.

As alluded to, the competition for places has been closer than ever, and as you can imagine, it's impossible for us to make 100% perfect placements with this many drivers to consider, and limited information available to us - and with drivers' pace also varying from circuit to circuit, there will surely be some performance overlaps between various leagues. However, we hope that everyone has ended up in a league where you will feel competitive and have a chance at fighting for good positions if you put the effort in!

Note that we will monitor the leagues for the first few rounds and check to see if any drivers have clearly been misplaced (ie. they are way too fast or way too slow compared to the other drivers in their league). We reserve the right to make move drivers to a different league at any time if we feel this is necessary to keep the leagues competitive.

League Placements:

Below you can see which league tier each driver has been placed into. Drivers are ordered within each league based on priority in the car selection order (see here for more info).

Each league will have its own forum section where more information about the league - including a dedicated thread for car selection - will be posted shortly.

League forums:
Main Leagues: F1 / F2 / F3 / F4 / F5 / F6
Assist Leagues: Assist 1 / Assist 2

We hope you are pleased with your placement and that you will enjoy racing in our leagues for this season! Make sure you check out your league forum in the near future for more information about your league, to introduce yourself to your fellow drivers, and to get going with the car selection.

We'd like to wish all drivers luck in the season opener on Sunday, and remember to keep it clean!
