PC - Evaluation Races: General Information

This is 3rd and final step of the sign-up process. Before taking part in the evaluation race, make sure you have signed up to the league in the sign-up thread (step 1), and submitted your time trial times (step 2).

The evaluation races will be hosted across 4 separate nights (22nd-25th September). You only need to participate in one of them!

The pre-season evaluation races are being arranged for a few reasons:

● It will work as an additional means to help us judge your league placement, by allowing us to see how you perform on race pace over a 50% distance race.

● It will give us a taste of your race craft and ability to race cleanly and stay out of trouble.

● It will show us that you are properly committed to taking part in the upcoming league season, and allow us to weed out potential inactive sign-ups before the season has started.

How to take part:
Below you can find links to a race thread for each of the 4 evaluation race nights. Enter the thread of the race day that suits you the most, and sign up there by replying with your Steam Name.

It is mandatory to participate in one of these evaluation races. If you for some reason are unable to attend on all of these 4 nights, due to reasons out of your control, then leave a message in this thread to let us know. Drivers who fail to attend any of the races, without informing us with a good reason, will not be included in the league placements.

Evaluation Race #1 - Thursday 22nd September
Evaluation Race #2 - Friday 23rd September
Evaluation Race #3 - Saturday 24th September
Evaluation Race #4 - Sunday 25th September

More information about the race itself can be found within these threads.

I had signed up in the faith of my skills on a controller was good enough after my wheel broke, but after i have tried countless of laps on SPA to controll the car with a controller, it is impossible for me at all to race with a controller, iam al over the track and and cant barely put 1 lap toghter without going miles off track and flying from side to side, i realy do hope i get a new wheel before season starts, Anyway TL: DR i personaly dont fell that any of the things i can and will do in this evaluation will show anything of what i can do with my wheel at all, so i will not be able to do the race unless you guys want a mayhem:(, I realy do hope i still can be put into a split, since i will get a new wheel its just mather of short time (hopefully)

Edit: I guess this counts as out of my controll, since i coudlnt predict my wheel to breakdown?

So we have to attend in just one or is it better to to as much as we can?

You only need to do one.

While we will also assess your performance in the races to an extent, the main thing for us is to double check that you're active and properly committed to taking part in the upcoming season (so that we can get rid of potential inactive sign-ups before they affect the league placements).

I won't say no if you want to do more than one though, but if limited spots are available for a race then drivers who haven't done one already would be prioritised.
