AOR F1 Leagues - Season 11
PC - Sign-Up Thread

CURRENT SIGN-UP STATUS: Open until 9th April 2016 (extended by 1 week, matching the closing date of TT events)

Introduction:
Welcome to Season 11 of the AOR PC F1 Leagues! After 10 successful seasons on the Codemasters F1 games, we now move into our first full season on the new F1 2015 game!

AOR is all about having an enjoyable experience on track by following proper racing rules, as opposed to the demolition derby that is public lobbies. We have built a reputation for providing clean, fair and competitive league racing, and we will do our best to ensure that this continues in the best possible way. But remember, this relies on you as a driver respecting the rules and driving in a professional and fair manner!

F1 2015 provides a new feel of racing to the leagues, by switching over to the 'Next-Gen'-Platforms, but also providing a totally different approach in terms of handling. The stability of the game was not the best months after the launch, but now we do feel that with all the patches gone live, the game is ready to be raced in the AOR league.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - PLEASE READ:
The F1 2015 game in its current state has sometimes issue with showing to often the yellow flag, which might get to unjustified penalties. As specified in the league rules, such instances can be noticed from the race director and will be automatically removed by the coordinators. Also for the first time, a strict approach to enforce the track limits has been added to the game, which also can get drivers disqualified by the game, if they aren't respected. Still these are justified as the game does give out warnings for driving outside of the white lines, so please do especially take care on the track limits. Removing such penalties for instances where the track limits was even just slightly abused, will not happen, though removing clearly unfair penalties by the game, can be appealed. Please do prepare yourself by practicing on the strict settings.

You sign up to the leagues knowing that such instances as above pointed out may still happen.

General league information:
League setup: We will run a set amount of leagues, depending on the amount of drivers signing up at the start of the season. The leagues are tiered, with the faster drivers in the higher leagues and the slower drivers in the lower leagues. More info on how the leagues are set up can be found here.
Race day: The PC leagues race on Sundays.
Race time: 8:00pm (UK time) is the general race time of our leagues. Individual leagues can make minor modifications to the race time if necessary.
Race format: Each league event features a 18-minute qualifying session followed by a 50% distance race.
Drivers/Teams: Each league contains 16 drivers, spread across 8 different cars as picked at the start of the season, with the drivers in the same car listed as team mates.

It is vitally important that you read and understand the full content of the threads listed above. By signing up to our leagues, you agree to abide by all of our rules, and we expect all drivers to be aware of these before entering.

Our racing rules are in place to help us enforce clean and fair racing in the leagues. As an AOR driver, it is required that you do your very best to race within these rules at all times. In short, this means no contact and no corner cutting. We also expect that you to behave maturely and respectfully in the race lobby and on the forums.

Who can sign up?
Any drivers who has not previously been banned from the leagues are free to sign up. Only drivers who were part of a league at the end of Season 9 and Mini-Season are guaranteed a spot for Season 10, but we will try to fit in as many new drivers as we can as well.

'Aw snap, well this is embarrassing' like Chrome or Firefox would say, but unfortunately there was a small mix-up in the League Rules thread, as they got switched with the ones for Project Cars. Don't worry guys, this will be fixed as soon as possible. The race calendar will also be added.

As a note, every signup which doesn't have the speed/ping-test results will not be validated.

Regarding the time trial event, once we more signups than required for a tier, we will create a separate topic where the 3 tracks for the event will be announced. Drivers will have 1 week to submit their times in order to be assigned to one of the splits.

As for the time trial we have to do a video of the lap?
