So Maguire wants to trade a nice friendly happy environment for the hostile shite storm that is man Utd. Hope he fails miserably lol. Yuri Tielemans turned down man Utd to play for Leicester love that guy he's the next iniesta.
With Maguire I was hoping we could finish 4th but now I think top 6 maybe.

I was going to start this seasons football thread on Monday with the title of 'Football - 2019/2020 edition' but you beat me to it LC.:p

Have to admit though while I do enjoy when a new season starts it only feels like yesterday I was watching the champion league final, it makes me think back to this to be honest:

(1:31 - 1:41 = in reality, that is the actual truth of football.)

In regards to the premiership I’ve got a feeling that Wolves are going to do a Burnely and struggle to balance out european football and the league.

My predictions for the bottom three Sheffield united(bottom)
Newcastle
West Ham.

You're a fanny if you think we'll have an even worse season than last lol
And if you think man Utd can buy there way out of **** what does that make you lol
Well I never thought I'd see the day LC & Erti are at loggerheads, guys I thought I was both your real villain of this masterpiece.

I know, I can rectify this for you - bottom 3 this season:
18th. Man Utd & Leicester (you both finish on same points, goal difference, goals scored & against, ie: I'm fair;))
20th. who cares/a sh*t team

There you go problem solved, now you 2 can stop arguing with one another and instead both have a classic moan at me.

1. Liverpool (there overdue to win it)
2. Man City (could end their UCL duck instead though)
3. Wolves (clearly on the up and will upset the bigboys apple cart)
4. Chelsea (wins the London league)
5. Tottenham (UCL loss will hurt them mentally)
6. Man Utd (still in transition period)
7. Everton
8. Leicester
9. Southampton (all hail the 'rabbit hutch')
10. Brighton (Potter's got talent)
11. Bournemouth
12. Watford
13. Aston Villa
14. West Ham
15. Norwich
16. Crystal Palace
17. Sheff Utd (miracles do happen)
18. Arsenal (saw it happen in my fifa 19 manager career, plus AFTV would be comedy gold for a year)
19. Newcastle (owner will be responsible for relegation)
20. Burnley (the dalek to move on to bigger & better things)

(Just for Erti & LC:))
FA Cup: Man Utd

All is forgiven @Wobbuffet ;) as long as Wolves give us 6 points this season.

5 or 6 games in and Wolves and Watford woefully underperforming. Bournemouth, Sheff Utd and Burnley all overperforming. Thereabouts for the rest, top two nailed on.

So what have we learned in the first month or so:

A clear top 2 once again with Liverpool and Man City fighting it out in another titanic long season battle. (my advice to Liverpool just win another 29 games and your champions - probably)

Battle for top 4 looks even more open, hopefully one of the supposed mid-table teams will upset the big boys apple cart.

The promoted sides look like they ain't just going to make up the numbers, and a few teams have flattered to deceive.

In the European competitions in the UCL looks like the PL sides won't have it all there own way, but UEL a solid start.

Lastly in International qualifiers England can't still can't defend for shít, but I now have a soft spot for Kosovo - nice to see a relatively new nation play against us with such a reckless gung-ho attacking football philosophy, that 5 - 3 I watched a couple weeks back was one of the best international games of football I've ever seen.:ROFLMAO:
