How do I calibrate Fanatec CSL Elite throttle pedals?

I ran into an issue with my Fanatec CSL Elite pedals, where the throttle began to stutter and act faulty. The fix was to take out the potentiometer and adjust the gear. After doing that, my throttle pedal is extremely sensitive but no longer stutters, but I have no idea how to properly calibrate them now. The manual for my wheel and base (CSL Elite Base Discontinued w/Clubsport Formula Rim) told me to press the shifter paddles and down on the D-pad to calibrate the throttle, but when I do the input it won't work. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong or have a fix to the issue? Looked online everywhere and no one seems to have the answer I'm looking for.

I have the same pedals and I have to press throttle and brake (non LC) fully to calibrate them every time I turn my wheel on.
As far as I know, only load cell brake has a different calibration method.

Thanks! I fixed the issue myself with some help from tech support, but yeah the issue is a design flaw. If anyone wants to know how I did it feel free to message me or ask me here!
Why not post it here? May help a lot of people...

Please, I would like to know how to fix my issue as my accelerator seems to get stuck in the 'on' position even when I release my foot. I think this was what you where talking about in your message.
Any help would be appreciated.
