This thread contains general information about the AOR Global Touring Cars on Forza Motorsport 6, such as the league structure, assist restrictions and lobby settings.

League Structure:
Amount of leagues: There will only be one league of 24 drivers.
League setup: There will be 24 drivers, with 8 teams. Meaning there will be 3 car teams.
Driver placements: Anyone is free to sign-up.

Race night format

RACE 1
Game Type: Circuit Race
● Damage Difficulty: Simulation
● Collision Mode: Always On
● Car class: S
● Division: Global Touring Cars
● End Condition: NUMLAPS
● Grid Ordering: Best Lap (Ascending - YES)
● End of Race Timer: 5 Minutes
APPROX. LENGTH: 20 MINUTES

RACE 2
Game Type: Circuit Race
● Damage Difficulty: Simulation
● Collision Mode: Always On
● Car class: S
● Division: Global Touring Cars
● End Condition: NUMLAPS
● Grid Ordering: RANDOM
● End of Race Timer: 5 Minutes
1 QUICKSTOP

APPROX. LENGTH: 40 MINUTES

Settings Changed for Qualifying:
● Collision Mode: Always Off
● Compare Best Lap Scores: Yes
● Grid Ordering: Random
● Per-Car Roll Off Delay: 3 Seconds


Day/Time:
Race day: Fridays
Event start: 9PM UK TIME, 4PM EST TIME

Notable Dates:
Sign-up opens: 9th June
Car selection begins: TBD
Season begins: 1st July
Season duration: 15 weeks

Assist Restrictions:

The AOR leagues favour drivers who race without assists enabled. You need to be able to drive without Traction Control, Autobrake and Autosteering to be allowed to compete in our leagues. We strongly recommend using all assists off, as it is the fastest way to do things, however we are allowing ABS, Racing Line and Automatic gears for those who feel they need these assists.

Cars:

The Global Touring Cars will all be ran in stock form, and the following are available for selection:

2014 Audi #67 Rotek Racing S3 Saloon

2014 Honda #2 Castrol Civic WTCC
2014 Honda #5 Zengo Civic WTCC
2014 Mercedes-Benz #33 WIX Racing A-Class

Livery: Team based livery

There will be a maximum of 3 of any one car available for selection. Car selection order will be based upon the order of sign ups in the sign up thread.

Points System:

Driver Championship scoring:

The following points will be scored for each race finishing position.

1st - 40 points
2nd - 34 points
3rd - 30 points
4th - 28 points
5th - 26 points
6th - 24 points
7th - 22 points
8th - 20 points
9th - 18 points
10th- 16 points
11th - 14 points
12th - 13 points
13th - 12 points
14th - 11 points
15th - 10 points
16th - 9 points
17th - 8 points
18th - 7 points
19th - 6 points
20th - 5 points
21st - 4 points
22nd - 3 points
23rd - 2 points
24th - 1 point


- Drivers need to have completed at least 90% of the race distance in order to score full points for their classified position.
- Drivers who complete between 75% and 90% of the race distance will be eligible to score half points for their classified position.
- Drivers who complete less than 75% of the race distance will score 0 points, regardless of their classified position.

In the case of drivers being tied on points in the standings, the higher position will be awarded to the holder of most first places. If the number of first places is the same, the holder of most second places, then third places, and so on until a winner emerges.

Team Championship scoring:

All points a driver scores in the Drivers Championship go towards their respective Teams points.

Disconnection Guidelines:

Disconnections:

● If a driver loses connection during qualifying, they will be invited back into the lobby after the session finishes.

● If a driver loses connection during the race, that is tough luck, and unfortunately nothing can be done about that.

● We do our best to ensure that the best available connection in the lobby acts as the lobby host, so any connection issues are normally a result of a fault on the disconnecting driver's end. Please ensure that your internet connection is fine, and that your NAT type is open, before entering the race lobby.

Mass disconnections:

● If 4 (or more) drivers lose connection to the lobby during the transition from qualifying to the race, the lobby will be restarted.

● During the race, if half (or more) of the drivers in a race lose connection at the same time, or over a short period of time, that counts as a mass disconnection.

● If less than 50% of the race was completed at the time of the mass disconnection, the race will be restarted immediately, preferably with a new lobby host. If several drivers are unable to restart the race at that time, the race will be rescheduled for a later date.

● If more than 50% of the race was completed at the time of the mass disconnection, the race will end, and the race order from the time of the first disconnection becomes the final result. Half points are awarded to all drivers.

● If more than 90% of the race was completed at the time of the mass disconnection, the race will end, and the race order from the time of the first disconnection becomes the final result. Full points are awarded to all drivers.

Who to contact:

For league related inquiries or questions, your first point of contact should be a staff member within the league you are assigned to - preferably the League Coordinators.

Example reasons to contact them could be:

To inform them that you're missing a race
To get information about your league
If you are unhappy about something, either with regards to a race or on the forums

If you have an issue with your League Coordinator and would rather discuss the issue with someone else, then seek out another person from the below list and address the issue to them. Our Coordinators and Moderators are expected to remain completely unbiased, and as long as you address the situation sensibly and maturely they will be happy to discuss any issues no matter who it is with.
