Update, at all interested! Updated the original post with all event information.
Please confirm your attendance, and ideally (if you already know) your car class.
No problem if you want to decide on the class later, closer to the race.

I'm in :)
Will go for the Touring Car class :)
Even though I am not sure if I'll make it for 6 PM UK I'll try to be there at the start :)

Thanks all!
Andrex, I put you on the list for GT3 (can always change it).
Open practice starts at 6, qualification at 7, meaning race starts probably 7:25-ish.
If the basic mechanics of lobbies have not changed, you can also join during qualy and, if you don't put a lap in, start from the back of the grid (next to me :p)

Note: I'll be a bit busy with work stuff until wednesday, so will likely not have time to stop by and update the driver list.
Will do that on Wednesday evening though, so please keep on signing up!

Anyone up for GT4 or TC?
So far signups are (@TicklishPicklewickle aside) GT3 only.
If we're getting a GT3 only grid, that's fine too - but having multiple classes starting would be sweet :)

Am out for this one ,I did not know it was this track :spitoutdummy:
Ah, come on. Nürburgring combined is fun! take a slower class, should keep the repair time in the pits in check :p

Actually, after running VLN in iRacing, really came to appreciate the combined track. Love how you fight the track more than the opponents and small mistakes cost greatly.
Totally open outcome, love it.

Sadly, PCars2 does allow only 32 car fields. in iRacing, paticipated in a VLN with 60 GT3s on this track, for 4 hours. insane.

I agree with you both on this one tbh :)
IMO, it might not the best option for a social race, where we will not likely have a full grid, which could result in rather 'boring' racing once ppl have split up from each other.
It's a great track for sure, and with a full grid, and a nice split of 2 classes would make for a really interesting race!

But I would agree with @Stephan in that if you are not to sure of the track, take the slower car.
Even if it's slower, you will end up being quicker than driving something that you are bouncing off the walls in.
Don't try to push for good lap times, just keep it on the track, and you will probably end up doing well.
Repairs take a long time in pCars2, so keeping the car pointing the right way, and off the barriers, and you'll gain a lot of time against those sitting in the pits!!!

(Or is dmg off for a social?)

damage is on, but I think we should run without mechanical failures

Edit:
if the grid is very empty, we can discuss dropping a class.

An option is also to fill up with AI - never tried it.
Just a thought open to debate (don't kill me please)

Agree with the mechanical Failures off.
I would still advise drivers to set the car up to try to avoid overheating, so you get a good idea of radiator settings / temps! (As if mech dmg was on)

The numbers look small for a 2h race. How about reducing the time to 1h? @Stephan would work better as people will get bored faster (including me).
