Also, another warning...

Also a warning to EVERY driver on the field that races Sunday:

Everyone MUST respect the yellow line coming out of the pits, no matter what the circumstance. I know it's easy to nudge the barrier and cross the line, but just slow down a bit more to avoid doing so then. And this will not be like track limits. All four tyres must be within the yellow line, if you cross with 2 is enough to give you a warning, if not a penalty.

Secondly, coming into the pits, if you happen to be fighting with someone coming into Rascasse, make sure you cover the inside line to the corner to enter the pits, or if the driver behind went for a move, slow down and let him get past you completely to enter the pits safely, without causing any collisions.
You might remember what happened to Limitless in Season 9. He got a quali ban after his qualifying lap had a very small irregularity at the Chicane, coming out of the tunnel. This will be no different to Sunday. Every driver caught doing their fastest time with irregularities will be punished, but corner cutting won't be the only thing we'll be looking out for.

NO WALL RIDING! Any caught getting an advantage by using the walls will be penalized just as much as if it was a corner cut. The walls aren't there to help you, and if in real life you have to stay away from them, this is no different. Everyone now and then brushes the walls, but try to avoid it as much as you can, as we'll be looking for people trying to get an advantage from it. If you can't do some corners at the speed you want, just slow down, don't cheat and use the barriers/ corner cut.

10.7, but there was a minor cut and a wall tap. Want to tidy it up by tonight. :) You did very well yourself to get into the 10s, I can only do 11s on a pad at best! :p

I agree! Slight concern that the spectator camera can make it look like someone has hit the wall though when they actually didn't. :p Of course every now and then you will hit the wall if you push, but doing it consistently will most likely be punished. :)

@pepper_F1 @James Thorpe Heya, quick question:
Is it OK to retire mid-qualifying? I've been doing it if I've done a good lap to save tyres from not doing the in-lap, but some people might find the notice at the bottom distracting.

Probably not the most correct thing to do, but many people do it, and it's a bit late to enforce it now... :p

So I just home from Formula E and my ankles are killing me and I can just keep my eyes open so apologies if I drive like a fish today... I just want to survive until the end of the race.

Well, ups and downs. Pace was pretty good throughout the race, I can't believe I didn't lose my front wing once...that's a miracle. Had an incident with Pepper I wasn't too happy about. Coming up the hill after turn 1 on lap 6 or something I overtook pepper and had the line but he squeezed himself beside me going into Casino and two wide through there doesn't work. I don't know what he was thinking. It was a very ambitious move especially for lap 6. If I kept my line, we would have both crashed and probably lost our front wings. I went very inside and unfortunately clipped the barrier which lost me 3 positions. After that, I built up a rhythm and looked pretty good until Lee caused a safety car. It was a workout trying to keep Jaime behind once the safety car came in and fair play to him, clean driving. I ALMOST got Mazais on the last lap, he must have lost his wing or something because I was right behind him in sector 3 but could not get past. Tried one final time on the last corner, had the outside line but got squeezed and had to slightly back out. Otherwise we would both have spun around. I think if he left a tiny bit more space k could have come home in 4th. But pleased overall with my result.

Congrats to @F1_Dan for winning!!! Nice job!

Drove way too cautiously on the first stint, crashed on the last corner on lap 8 had to do the whole of lap 9 without a front wing then crashed again out of the hairpin on lap 29 and lost another front wing. Undoubtedly, the worst league race I've ever driven because my driving was utterly dreadful... But hey, at least I got fastest lap ;)

Good... My career was best to worse because of the wear and tear that I had with the soft. At the exit, I decide to go quiet and I win a position. After the tunnel, not is that it happened but I braked normal wheels blocked and I could not avoid Rockhammer, anyway I waited for him. Little by little by accident I upload some positions and on lap 10 stop to put hard. With this tire I was going very well to the home but when wore 7 turns already not going well and had that stop in it turned 20. I had thought to do 2 sets of soft more to not suffer from rubber bands, but in the round 25 left SC. Ruined me the entire strategy, and not be, but stopped 2 times in boxes in the SC, to suffer somewhat less at the end. It did nothing to nothing because with the hard to 8 turns it was horrible and I had a horrible pace that made me stay 8 Finally. At least I get 4 points

Terrible race, decided that my first lap of "practice" would be my 1st qualifying lap & spent the whole race getting in other peoples way even when actually trying to let them through & of course i go up the escape road at turn 1 on the final lap. **** track, **** game, **** driver... but hey at least i actually scored points

Well that was a shock, everyone else seemed to bottle quali so my 11.2 was good enough for pole. Got a good start and led into the first corner. I don't really remember a lot from the first stint, however Callum was close when he pitted on L10, I chose to stay out another lap and because Callum had got caught up in traffic I had a 1 second lead on Mazais who pitted on L8. Once Callum got past Mazais he hunted me down until L24 when the safety car came in wiping out my 3/4 second advantage. The last stint was tense because I knew one mistake and I would lose the race, this made me drive incredibly slowly but it made off and I managed to hold on. See you all next week :)
