Everyone who competed in Spa got put into a random grid generator. This is how the grid would line up for the next round

P1, C. Vila - P2, S. Dove
P3, S. Kamke - P4, N. Domino
P5, C. Yardley - P6, E. Imray
P7, A. Hebsgaard - P8, R. Luuk
P9, M. Zelenika - P10, D. Karoni
P11, V. Mateos - P12, K. Martinsen
P13, T. Coombe - P14, D. Page
P15, K. Guilleux - P16, C. Feffer
P17, S. Moraine - P18, P. Gaillard
P19, M. Dreschler - P20, M. Schepers
P21, D. Gadermayr - P22, J. Hoppe
P23, D. Lindholdt - P24 L. Sorensen
P25, D. Nikolin - P26, C. Holstein
P27, R. Deville - P28, A Langham-Service
P29, D. Sosulski - P30, C. Dubreucq
P31, C. Bell - P32 S. McCracken
P33, J. Klaiber - P34, E. Mariinsky
P35, J. Smith - P36, P. Martins
P37, N. Parkinson - P38, F. Fouque
P39, B. Hitchcock - P40, C. Clima
P41, P. Reid - P42, B. Willemsen
P43, J. Howson - P44, M. Sluman

So there you go, that made for interesting reading.

Would you be happy with that? I suspect those nearer the front more so than those nearer the back.

I vote to reverse the reversed grid. Makes things even more interesting.

Also @Marvin get rekt
@McPhilen I got further and further through it and and your name wasn't showing up and it just got funnier and funnier.

Also if @Dan_Suzuki won from 29th, I'd be mad.

I don’t want to be on P3. That’s a 10 lap code brown till I am back where nature wanted me.

Knowing me on Lap 1s I would probably end up reversing the numbers in my start position on the first lap :D

I think I would just die quicker than I normally do :p
I always liked reverse grids in Pcars leagues, think I would enjoy it in iRacing as well. Would prefer it to random grid.

Guess what my answer is !
What’s crazy is that even with a random grid success doesn’t smile at me !

Could be interesting but flip side of the coin would be that much faster people could end up at the back of the grid and their competitors in the championship at the front?

Furthermore I do see a risk of more incidents - because of faster drivers trying to get quickly through the field and slower drivers fighting for position. At least it would be good for me to train defensive lines - because I'm not on the track to let the others easily pass me if we are fighting for position

but there are tracks where AM drivers do better qualifying laps then PRO-AM and thus reversed by class is not that easy
Don't understand why not? You take the championship standings for each class, reverse the class grid from that. Do the same to all classes but still let the Pro's start in front and the AM's in the back.

Oh I see you would reverse the actual champion standings. I thought you trying to reverse the qualification results. But that would mean that you no longer need qualifying.
