Happy to have finished 7th but very annoyed with myself after making a great start moving up to p5 I then lose my car coming over the bump after the hairpin and the car behind has nowhere to go, apologies whoever it was can't remember who. Then after my final stop @AOR Jez spun ahead of me and then I overtook him and we had a good battle towards the end of the race with him overtaking me before I got him back with a late move into turn 5.
Needed that result with Monaco being the next race...

My intention of finishing this season is under review. I'm already pretty rusty having not done any online racing on F1 in a few years, but I just don't have the time to practice either. The lack of race pace is bad enough but when it's resulting in first lap collisions (such as today, sorry to the McLaren if it was my fault) and stupid DNFs then it might be time to stop for now and perhaps resume next season. I'll see how I feel ahead of Monaco.

Irritating to have race winning pace and only end up 5th. Forced into a move I didn't want to make in sector 3 and span the car. Bottled both my qualy laps that would've given me pole and then too much downforce meant I couldn't get near the top two on the straights. Bodes well for Monaco...

You were looking good for pole after that hard run! Unlucky you couldn't convert. Monaco's a chance to bounce back.

I was the McLaren. It was pretty clear you hadn't seen me. I'd had a great start and was trying to stay tight to the inside of T2 and as I moved to the apex you also moved across just enough to touch me and we converged, and my car immediately went around. It was a very small tap. Not too dissimilar to one I gave @Cinnamon Rage in China that sent him spinning except with him and me it was nose-to-gearbox and tonight it was a sidepod impact.
In the end I recovered up to 4th and I think even with a completely clean race I'd have struggled to beat that, especially as I benefited tonight from others going off and having their own incidents; without the spin I would have been running in close proximity to everyone else in those opening laps and who knows what would have happened then, maybe I would have been in a race-ending collision instead. Fourth was the upper end of my target for tonight so I'm not unhappy, let's put it that way.

@maxen I did notice you funnily enough but part of the rustiness I mention is getting all twitchy and nervous at the start of races lol. I was just all over the place so there's no real logic behind what I was doing. Apologies again

gg @Blueeyes0602! Up from F6 and onto the top step of the podium in your second race!
Thanks it was really close, I got a 3 second penalty and the gap kept dropping below 3 sec to @xXMARKELiNXx. I really enjoyed the fight at the start of the race as I think I had a lot of down force so I was very slow on the straights but faster on the corners. It's a shame that @Bobsleigh Gamer could not fight as well as they seemed to be quite competitive.
