Hey everyone - Being that this week's round is at Monaco, and it's a very narrow and unforgiving track, I wanted to reiterate one of AOR's rule sections:

3.4 Quitting the race:

3.4.1
● Deliberately retiring your car during the race (whether that is by crashing your car, getting yourself disqualified or retiring through the pause menu) is not allowed. Regardless of how frustrating your race has been, you should always remain in the race until the finish. Breaking this rule will result in a severe penalty.

3.4.2
● The above rule can only be ignored in the case of an emergency - such as something important and/or unexpected forcing you to leave your screen, or that you're clearly a danger to other drivers on track due to connection issues or inability to drive properly. Retiring due to being angry at something or having a poor race (rage-quitting, in other words) is not a valid reason.

3.4.3
● If you do have to retire your car during the race due to an emergency, you must drive back to the pit lane and retire your car while in the pits. This is to avoid major issues such as your AI car slowing down or parking in a dangerous place on track, or an unnatural safety car being triggered.

3.4.4
● Under all circumstances, you are expected to stay in the race lobby until the end of the race - even if you have retired or crashed out of the race. Leaving the lobby could cause connection or performance issues for the drivers who are still racing. Deliberately leaving the lobby before the end of the race will result in a penalty. Note: This does not apply to legitimate disconnections.
I've been too lenient about this so far in the first 5 rounds, but with Round 6 and onwards I'm going to expect you all to be aware of these rules specifically and of course follow all the rules AOR has set in general. If you leave the game outside of a legitimate disconnection I'll be submitting stewards requests to enforce these rules. The big concern here is that with this season's enabling of the safety car, you could potentially cause a safety car or VSC deployment just because you've left the race.

Are we gonna have commentators this evening so if we have a game crash we can get an invite to rejoin? Would like to add them to Steam if so. I am determined to actually finish a race regardless if this game wants me to or not.

I started on SS instead of HS like I was suppose to so I pitted on lap 7 as that's when I was gonna pit with the HS. Figured it was a slower tire so if anything I lost time instead of gained. I ran out of time trying to fix my strategy to what it was like before we had to restart the session. I DNF'd anyways cause I just totally messed up and smacked the wall. At least I have nothing to blame but myself this time. lol

Good battle Sharkbait. I had some front wing damage so I held us up a little but was still fun. When you jammed me into the wall though, that just totaled the wing. No hard feelings.

I was definitely slow. I tagged the wall coming out of the pits and the right front part of the wing was orange. That's why I was so slow on the turns and kept running wide. Problem is i had just left the pits and wasnt coming back in. Haha
