Tier System:

Amount of leagues:

Each tier contains one league. The amount of tiers/leagues each platform runs depends on the amount of drivers signing up at the start of the season.

All of the tiers will be running the GT3 class cars.

Driver placements:

In the event of multiple leagues on one platform, the aim is to have the faster drivers in the higher league(s) and slower drivers in the lower league(s).

Drivers will be placed into the leagues based on a combination of the time trial result and previous championship result where applicable.

Link to each platform's time trial thread can be found in the sign up area here: XB1 / PS4 / PC

Promotion & relegation system:

While there are no 100% fixed promotion & relegation spots, we try to judge drivers' league placement based on finishing positions in the championship from the season before, along with overall pace and consistency throughout the season.

Ideal scenario: The top few finishers from each league will be guaranteed a move to the league above, and the bottom few will be guaranteed a move to the league below (if possible).

However, bear in mind that how much it is possible to adhere to this system will depend on how many of the league drivers carry over to the following season, and in turn how many league tiers are set up. The AOR Project CARS team may move people up or down once the season has begun if we feel they have been mis-placed.

Assist Restrictions:

For Season 7, no tiers will run with the 'Force Realistic Assists' enabled. Instead, all tiers will allow ABS and Traction control for all cars, however stability control will be banned.

Racing line is allowed as we're unable to force it off, and automatic gears is banned in the top tier on each platform.

Car and Livery Selection:

Cars available:

The following cars are available for selection in our GT3 leagues:
- Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3
- Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE*
- Audi R8 LMS Ultra
- Bentley Continental GT3**
- BMW Z4 GT3
- Cadillac ATS-V.R GT3***
- Chevrolet Corvette C7.R ***
- Ginetta G55 GT3
- McLaren 12C GT3
- Mercedes-AMG GT3
- Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3
- Ruf RGT-8 GT3

*Requires the Aston Martin Track Expansion Pack
**Requires the Racing Icons Car Pack
***Requires the US Race Car Pack

The BMW M3 GT will not be available this season due to concerns that it would be too over-powered with the new assist regulations.

Car selection process:

At the start of the season, after the leagues and driver placements have been announced, a thread will be opened within each league's subforum where car selection will take place.

As we've introduced the open car selection, no one car is limited in use. Therefore you are free to choose whichever GT3 car you desire.

We heavily advise drivers actively test the cars they are considering using. However, if a driver feels they have made a mistake and no longer enjoy racing in that particular car, we are allowing 1 car change per season for each driver.

A car change is allowed under the following criteria:
- The driver must have completed at least 3 races with their current car.
- The driver acknowledges the fact that they will lose all of their championship points in both the Driver's and Team's standings and will start again from 0.

Team Registration Process:

After the leagues and driver placements have been announced, a thread will be opened within each league's subforum where Team Registration will take place.

You can team up with your friends/rivals/fellow racers and come up with a sensational team name! (Within reason!)

There is a maximum of 2 drivers per team. Teams must run identical cars and liveries.

Drivers are not forced to join forces with someone, but are encouraged to. If someone does not join a team, you will solely score in the Driver Championship.

A team can be formed mid-season should a new driver join the league and team up with an existing racer. All existing points from the established driver will be transferred to the newly formed team. No new teams can be created after round 9 has been completed.

Drivers may not switch teams mid-season.

Points System:

Driver Championship scoring:

The following points will be scored for each race finishing position.

1st = 35
2nd = 32
3rd = 29
4th = 26
5th = 23
6th = 20
7th = 17
8th = 14
9th = 11
10th = 9
11th = 7
12th = 5
13th = 4
14th = 3
15th = 2
16th = 1

Pole Position - 1 point

- Drivers need to have completed at least 90% of the race distance in order to score full points for their final classified position.
- Drivers who complete between 75% and 90% of the race distance will be eligible to score half points for their final classified position.
- Drivers who complete less than 75% of the race distance will score 0 points, regardless of their classified position.

In the case of drivers being tied on points in the standings, the higher position will be awarded to the holder of most first places. If the number of first places is the same, the holder of most second places, then third places, and so on until a winner emerges.

Team Championship scoring:

In each race, the Teams will score points based on the finishing positions of their two drivers in the race.

Disconnection Guidelines:

Disconnections:

If a driver loses connection during qualifying, they will be invited back into the lobby to continue from where they left off.

If a driver loses connection to the lobby during warm-up, they will be invited back into the lobby. However, there is a cut-off point from which you are unable to invite players to the game.

If a driver loses connection during the race, that is tough luck, and unfortunately nothing can be done about that.

We do our best to ensure that the best available connection in the lobby acts as the lobby host, so any connection issues are normally a result of a fault on the disconnecting driver's end. Please ensure that your internet connection is fine, and that your NAT type is open, before entering the race lobby.

Mass disconnections:

If 4 (or more) drivers lose connection to the lobby during the transition from qualifying to the race, the lobby will be restarted and the race will be started with a manual rolling start, where drivers will use the first lap of the race to line up in a double file formation based their qualifying positions. Proper concentration and cooperation from the drivers are required to make this work.

The coordinator of the league will make sure everybody is aware of their position - this may take some time.

During the race, if half (or more) of the drivers in a race lose connection at the same time, or over a short period of time, that counts as a mass disconnection.

If less than 50% of the race was completed at the time of the mass disconnection, the race will be restarted immediately, preferably with a new lobby host. If several drivers are unable to restart the race at that time, the race will be rescheduled for a later date.

If more than 50% of the race was completed at the time of the mass disconnection, the race will end, and the race order from the time of the first disconnection becomes the final result. Half points are awarded to all drivers.

If more than 90% of the race was completed at the time of the mass disconnection, the race will end, and the race result will be declared as the order at the time of the first disconnection.

Who to contact:

For league related enquiries or questions, your first point of contact should be a staff member within the league you are assigned to - preferably the League Coordinator. Upon joining a league, it will be made clear who your League Coordinator is.

Example reasons to contact them could be:

● To inform them that you're missing a race
● To get information about your league
● If you are unhappy about something, either with regards to a race or on the forums

If you have an issue with your League Coordinator and would rather discuss the issue with someone else, then seek out another person from the below list and address the issue to them. Our Coordinators and Moderators are expected to remain completely unbiased, and as long as you address the situation sensibly and maturely they will be happy to discuss any issues no matter who it is with.

The following members are currently part of the team running the AOR GT3 Leagues:

● General Overseers: @StevieSQ / @FisiFan91

Xbox One Team:
- @Def

PS4 Team:
- @YabbaTheHutt

PC Team:
- @Gxbbs
