The second race in the mini classic cars series takes us to Silverstone, just across the road from the Force India HQ.

Race Day: Tuesday 7th Novemeber
Start Time: 20:00 (UK time)

A race night is composed of 1 short qualifying session, fastest laptime determines the order of the grid. Four points are awarded for pole position.

Race 1 is run over a 25% distance. Each driver must complete 1 compulsory pitstop (with the exception of a full wet race)

The top 8 drivers score points (25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4) with two points being awarded to the driver who sets the fastest lap of the race. (Driver must finish in the top 8).

Race 2 is a 5 lap sprint with the grid determined by the finishing order of the 1st race, with the top 8 positions reversed.

The top 6 finishers score points (12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2) with two points being awarded to the driver who sets the fastest lap of the race. (Drivers must not have changed tyres in race 2 unless weather dictates).

IMPORTANT: The final race of the season is at Ferrari's spiritual home at Monza. This race will not follow the the 2 race format. There will run one feature race of 50% with 1.5x the usual points allocation available for the drivers. (38, 27, 22, 18, 15, 12, 9, 6)

Calendar:
Tues 24th October -
Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve (Canada)
Tues 7th November - Silverstone (Great Britain)
Tues 14th November - Monte Carlo (Monaco)
Tues 21st November - Suzuka (Japan)
Tues 28th November - Monza (Italy)

Anyone else is more than welcome to attend, and don't feel as though attending one race you are then bound to attend them all. Feel free to attend as and when you can, although it would be nice if people could make most races. Although there is a 'league' it's not an official AOR one so obviously nothing to go in the Stewards Enquiry thread etc. and it's more casual than the league proper.

Feel free to ask questions and sign up below!

1) Priority will be given first to those who have competed in previous races, and then on a first-come-first-served basis to those who reply to this post.

2) There are 2 races each night, the second being only 5 laps. If you DNF the first race please do your best to stick around for the sprint race, as it makes it more fun for everyone, and gives you a chance at some points.

(Add Fersiphion or Dobby on steam for invites)
