Since this race was so awesome I'll actually do a race report!
Q: 3rd but moved up to second with herb's disconnect. Felt like I put a good lap together and was happy with my position
Since I had done nearly no wet practice I was slightly caught out by the conditions and dropped 2 places to @Rob1nJ and @Lunarz xEclipse early on. Around lap 9 everyone came in for a new set of inters but I stretched mine all the way to lap 12 and I was able to put primes on resulting in me jumping up to second and close behind @Jorden Bicknell I managed to catch him slowly but disaster struck and I sidepod glitched off of him while trying to make an overtake and I lost another place to rob. Around lap 21 Rob pitted for a new set of options and Lunarz had cut down the gap to get all over my gearbox. From lap 22 on we battled for 2nd (which was essentially for the lead as Gord had a penalty) On the final lap I sidepod glitched off of Lunarz and he kindly allowed me through which gave me my first F4 win!! Still can't believe that I won this race!
Considering I only managed to practice an hour and a half before the race I'll take 5th. The effort to put in the practice just isn't there when I disconnect or have races rewened/unfair driving. Hopefully once the connection issues disappear I'll actually practice and find my clean pace again rather than being clean but slow
Does anyone know if there was more than 11 ppl on the race results and do u have a recording of of it coz my vid has done some weird skipping thing again and the screenshot I've got is all I see of the race results?
So there was only 11 drivers on the results. Thats ok then lol. In my vid the screenshot of the results page was it. It literally flashes up for a sec, maybe less and then skips to the driver celebration lol.
While I'm here, this vid is my best moment of the race Now, I'll grant you, it wasnt the best drift I've ever seen, but I still hugged the apex just so, so I'm happy with it lol
Alright guys, I've updated the results with both Russia and USA. Been having exam all prev week long, only been able to update it now. As it stands, @Lunarz xEclipse looks to be heading towards the title win, with a 31 points lead to @bontabullets .
Funfact: Lunarz has not yet won a race this season, but still leads the Championship. How about that.
